Schools Safeguarding offers Safeguarding support across the children’s workforce

Schools Safeguarding provides support for safeguarding across the children’s workforce, primarily in schools, nurseries, colleges, and workplace providers of apprenticeships.

Andrea, the Director of Schools Safeguarding, believes that while safeguarding is a challenging subject, children and those who support them, should experience joy and optimism. In her own practice, Andrea always prioritises making children laugh and connecting with them instantly, which is something she wants all those working with children to emulate.

Andrea’s in-depth knowledge of the statutory guidance on safeguarding children is the “secret ingredient” that enables her and her team to provide training and consultancy in a way that schools can trust. Her experience in developing systems and procedures relating to the law allows her to adapt to different settings’ needs and provide accurate signposting.

Moreover, her expertise and understanding of the law enable her to update training immediately following any changes or updates, ensuring that Schools Safeguarding’s services provide accurate and compliant information.

Our Approach

  • A continuing relationship in which a school or setting can be confident that their safeguarding of children is paramount, meets all statutory requirements and is updated when necessary.
  • Guiding your understanding of why and how the changes have been made and the practical implications for your school or setting policy and practice.
  • A highly professional service aimed at whole school support, from challenging conversations with Senior Leaders and Governors to supervising and supporting the staff working with the most vulnerable children.
