9th May 2024 Prevent Lead Training

Updated Prevent Duty Guidance (September 2023) states: ‘Those with Preventspecific responsibilities, such as DSLs, are likely to require additional, more regular
training so they can support others on Prevent matters and update them on
relevant issues.’ This training is designed to provide those with Prevent
responsibilities with an understanding of the updates to the Prevent Duty
Guidance. It equips delegates with the skills to assess risks and develop a plan to
reduce risks through the curriculum, raising awareness and being responsive to
current and emerging issues. This training is suitable for existing DSLs with
responsibility for Prevent (Prevent Lead) and members of the SLT who may be
new to undertaking this role.
